Shot put lands Gilmore in HOF

This is the second in a series of eight articles profiling the Seneca Valley Sports Hall of Fame's Class of 2019.

Jenny (Weyman) Gilmore, a Seneca Valley graduate, is seen here competing the day she broke the school record in the shot put in April 1984. The effort of 41 feet remains a school standard. Gilmore will be inducted into the Seneca Valley Sports Hall of Fame in September.

HOUSTON, Texas — Jenny (Weyman) Gilmore had many impressive efforts while competing in the shot put for Seneca Valley.
